Why texting matters so much
A meal prep kitchen texts customers all week: menu drops, order reminders before cutoff, order confirmations, and on delivery day a window, an "on my way" and a delivered photo. That's easily 8 to 10 texts per customer per week.
At 8¢ a text, 1,500 texts is $120 a month before the $15 number fee. At 2¢ it's $30. Over a year, texting alone can cost more than a year of Prepwork's software.
